CTS™ AAV-MAX Transfection Kit (Gibco™)

The Gibco CTS AAV-MAX Transfection Kit is an essential component of the CTS AAV-MAX Helper-Free AAV Production System. It is used for the transient transfection of CTS Viral Production Cells 2.0. The kit includes a cationic lipid-based transfection reagent, as well as a transfection booster and production enhancer, which are designed to work together to produce adeno-associated virus (AAV) particles from CTS Viral Production Cells 2.0 when cultured in CTS Viral Production Medium.

Features of the CTS AAV-MAX Transfection Kit include:

  • Components work synergistically within the CTS AAV-MAX system to produce high AAV titers greater than 5 x 1010 vg/mL (unpurified)
  • Robust transfection protocols adaptable to large scale transfection
  • Manufactured in conformity with cGMP for medical devices (21 CFR Part 820) and following USP <1043> and European Pharmacopoeia (Ph. Eur.) 5.2.12 recommendations. Drug Master File and Regulatory Support File available upon request

Components of the kit include:

  • CTS AAV-MAX Transfection Reagent — cationic lipid-based transfection reagent for helper virus-free triple transfection of high-density cultures
  • CTS AAV-MAX Booster — chemically defined component that works with Transfection Reagent to achieve high transfection efficiency
  • CTS AAV-MAX Enhancer — chemically defined component that enhances the production of AAV particles

The CTS AAV-MAX Helper-Free AAV Production System is a scalable, high-titer platform for suspension AAV production with research-grade (Cat. No. A51217) and GMP versions to enable seamless transition from research to commercial manufacturing.
