The Gibco CTS Xenon Electroporation System enables reliable delivery of DNA, RNA, proteins, and other payloads into cells, with exceptional cell viability and recovery. This leads to efficient transfection and genetic modification, even in hard-to-transfect cell types.
Features of the CTS Xenon Electroporation System include:
• High speed and large volume—transfect up to 2.5 x 109 T cells/25 mL in less than 25 minutes
• Scalable, proven performance and viability—up to 90% gene knockout and 80% cell viability
• Process flexibility—user-programmable system enables you to create and optimize electroporation protocols for various cell types and payloads, from process development through commercial manufacturing
• Efficient nonviral transfection—deliver DNA, RNA, and protein payloads, including CTS TrueCut Cas9 Protein
• Closed-system processing—Xenon MultiShot Electroporation Cartridge enables sterile welding to PVC or C-Flex™ tubing
A choice of two single-use electroporation chambers of different volume capacities provides flexibility: the 1 mL SingleShot chamber enables process development while the 5-25 mL MultiShot cartridge can be used in a closed, commercial-scale manufacturing system that minimizes contamination and human error while maximizing safety.
In conjunction with the Neon Transfection System, the CTS Xenon Electroporation System helps enable smooth scale-up from research to process development to commercial manufacturing of up to 25 mL of cells at a time. Paired with other Thermo Fisher Scientific instruments, the Xenon system can be used to assemble a closed, integrated, GMP-compliant workflow that can be controlled by process automation software.
