Thermo Scientific Pierce Anti-HA Agarose is an immunopurification and immunoprecipitation resin for the enrichment of HA-tagged proteins expressed in human in vitro protein expression systems, bacteria, yeast, and mammalian cells. The anti-HA antibody coupled to the resin is a high-affinity mouse IgG1 monoclonal antibody that recognizes the HA-epitope tag (YPYDVPDYA) derived from the human influenza hemagglutinin (HA) protein.
Features of Pierce Anti-HA Agarose
Pierce Anti-HA Agarose consists of highly specific monoclonal anti-HA antibody that is covalently immobilized on a crosslinked 4% beaded agarose support. The product is supplied as a 50% slurry in 0.1 M phosphate, 0.15 M NaCl, pH 7.2 with 0.05% sodium azide. The anti-HA agarose has 3.5 mg mouse anti-HA IgG1 monoclonal antibody conjugated per mL of settled agarose resin.
HA-tagged proteins are easily eluted from the resin using 0.1 M glycine (pH 2.0–2.8), 3 M NaSCN, or 50 mM NaOH, depending on the downstream application of the purified protein. For gentle elution, HA Synthetic Peptide is available for use in neutralization and to competitively elute HA-tagged fusion proteins from immobilized anti-HA affinity resin.
