Thermo Scientific GPCR Extraction and Stabilization Reagent enables efficient extraction and stabilization of G-coupled protein receptors (GPCRs) and other membrane-associated proteins from cultured mammalian cells or tissue while preserving longer-term receptor integrity.

GPCR Extraction and Stabilization Reagent is simple to use. The sample is first harvested, washed, and pelleted. Receptor is then extracted using the reagent, followed by centrifugation. The resulting whole cell lysate contains solubilized and stabilized receptors. The reagent has been tested for use with endogenous and overexpressed GPCRs, and receptor function has been verified by receptor ligand binding assays.
